By creating an account or using Verdant Ledger ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including shop owners and staff members.
Verdant Ledger is a subscription-based credit tracking and collections management platform for small businesses. It allows you to record customer credit, track payments, send WhatsApp reminders, and manage team access.
New accounts include a 14-day free trial starting from the date the shop is created. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You may not share your login credentials with others — use the staff invitation feature instead.
You own the data you enter into Verdant Ledger. We do not claim any ownership over your customer records, credit entries, or business data. You grant us a limited licence to process and store this data solely to provide the Service to you.
You agree not to:
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data or business resulting from downtime or service errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
