Verdant Ledger ("we", "our", "us") is a credit tracking and collections management platform for small businesses. We are operated by Saarthiq (verdant.saarthiq.com).

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• •Account data: Your name, email address, and authentication credentials via Clerk.
• •Shop data: Shop name, owner details, and staff you invite.
• •Customer records: Names, phone numbers, credit amounts, and payment histories that you enter.
• •Payment data: Transaction records for your subscription, processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers.
• •Usage data: Logs and analytics used to improve the service.

3. How we use your data

• •To provide and improve the Verdant Ledger service.
• •To process payments and manage your subscription.
• •To send you service-related communications (e.g., subscription receipts).
• •To ensure platform security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS, Mumbai region). Authentication is handled by Clerk. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We apply Row Level Security in our database so that each shop's data is isolated from others.

5. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors:

• •Clerk — authentication and user management
• •Supabase — database and storage
• •Razorpay — payment processing
• •Vercel — hosting and CDN
• •Cloudflare — DNS and rate limiting

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@saarthiq.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
